The Amediewu Honey Foundation was founded by the Alpha Samuelson Company Limited (ASCL) in 2021.

The Foundations Mission is to promote and support honey production in Ghana in order to conserve nature and biodiversity while showing opportunities for socio-ecomonic growth at the same time.
After 20 years of Honey Production, Samuel Korblah Wede has realized the potential in the marked and thereby sees the opportunities to show the rural youth a profession which will not only have a sustainable effect for their living, but also for the environment. The effect is thereby not only socio-economic but also shows business models in an environmental sustainable agricultural backround.

Thereby the Mission is aligned with the agenda of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The project aims to contribute to poverty reduction (1)and food security (2), sustainable economic growth and decent work (8) as well as it supports the protection of life on land by the multiplication of bee populations and thereby biodiversity (15).
